What information we collect about you…
We only collect basic personal data about you which does not include any special types of information. This does, however, potentially include, name, company name, email address, telephone numbers, address, bank account details and financial information. This data is only collected about you when you sign up to one of our products, request a quotation or place an order for products or services. Bank account details are only collected when signing up to a Direct Debit Service Plan. When signing up to one of our Wi-Fi service plans, the data we collect through the SEU card to the SideWinder includes no personal data and is limited to operational/performance data used to determine the overall health of the installed equipment at your property. Website usage information is collected using cookies.
Why we need your data…
We need to know your basic personal data in order to provide you with the services we offer as a company which you have subscribed to, management of your account and customer file, provide quotations, invoices and receipts and offer warranty and guarantees on our products, in line with your overall contract. We will not collect any personal data from you we do not need in order to provide and oversee these services to you.
If you agree to receive marketing, we will use your personal data to offer products and services we think you may be interested in. If you consent to receive marketing, you may also opt-out at a later date. You have the right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes.
Packaged Pumps Systems Ltd. will not share your information for marketing purposes outside the organisation. We will not disclose any personal information to third parties except to prevent fraud, or if required to do so by law. In processing your order, we may send your details to and also use information from credit reference agencies and fraud prevention agencies. What we do with your data & how we protect it…
All the personal data we store and process is either processed by our staff in the UK or by an approved 3rd party data processor on behalf of us where data processing contracts are in place. We do not allow them to use this information for their own purposes and they have to follow the data security provisions outlined in our contract with them. For the purposes of IT hosting and maintenance, some of this stored information is located on servers within the European Union. We have a Data Protection regime in place to oversee the effective and secure processing of your personal data. We collect and store personal data, account details and financial information on secure encrypted servers and use encrypted transmission whenever we can.
The personal data we store on behalf of our service customers is processed in accordance with a contract you enter and consent to processing given upon the signing of the Direct Debit Service Agreement form only.
The personal data we store on behalf of our sales customers is processed in accordance with the legitimate interest condition as we have been requested to provide quotations and orders on behalf of you or one of our distributors where your information has been provided to us under their privacy notice and consent.
We also store personal data for warranty and guarantee purposes which is processed in accordance with the legitimate interest condition.
Our data security is fully audited and certified under the Cyber Essentials scheme which is backed by the National Cyber Security Centre.
How long we keep your data…
We will not keep your personal information for longer than necessary for our business purposes or for legal requirements. We will keep your basic personal data for 6 years from the end of your contract with us. Personal data we use for quotations and orders will be stored on our systems for a period of 6 years from the date of the original quotation. After these time frames, the stored data will be securely deleted. Your personal data we use for marketing purposes will be kept with us until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information. We will only make contact with you for service bookings for as long as the contract between you and Packaged Pumps Systems Ltd. lasts.
Access and control to your personal information…

You can request this information at any time. We will require proof of identification to ensure we do not give out your information to the wrong people. Under the new GDPR legislation, we will not charge for this service, but we will charge a £25.00 administration fee when a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, or if further copies of the same information are required.

You have the right to freely port your data from Packaged Pumps Systems Ltd. to another provider within one month of receipt of this request. You have the right to total erasure of your data where your consent to data processing will be removed. This can only be done when the reason for processing has expired (i.e. service contract expiry).
Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect standard internet log information and visitor behaviour information. This information is used to track visitor use of our website and to compile statistics on the website activity. You can set your browser to not accept cookies and you can remove cookies from your browser, however, some of our website features may not function as a result of this.
